Frankly, I would rather not have a row about it with you. Our perspectives are paradigmatically different around stuff like this, so a conversation about this video that starts like that (with a confrontational/dismissive comment) will likely only give me a headache more than anything else…
I agree that there should be references given for some of those “stats” presented… but I liked the writing, and the presentation… and think that it might make people pause before they go out and buy the crap that ends up in the garbage 6 months later.
If you make reference to any of these thoughts, that is, if something you have read here ends up becoming integrated into something you produce... please uphold the Creative Commons license and attribute/reference where applicable.
frankly, i found that to be a pack of transparent half truths, with little, if any, real insight.
struck me as the environmental version of fahrenheit 911, but less clever.
